Eric “Winkle” Brown talks at the Chichester Park Hotel

Eric Winkle Brown talks at Struggle to Break the Sound Barrier. The Arun and Chichester Air Enthusiasts Society are lucky enough to be able to welcome Eric Winkle Brown at the Chichester Park Hotel on Monday 22nd September at 7pm. He is author to the title Wings of the Navy, available in hardcover from Amazon.

Captain Eric (Winkle) Brown has been the subject of a recent BBC documentary Britain’s Greatest Pilot. He will be giving one of his last talks entitled Struggle to Break the Sound Barrier, at the Chichester Park Hotel.

He is world renowned as the pilot who flew more types of aircraft than anyone, 468 in total, and the only man to hold such a record. He is also the Fleet Air Arm’s most decorated living pilot at the age of 95 years. His talk will be one not to be missed by air enthusiasts old and young across the county.
